Wow, what a days and what an activity in and around the house! Everyone is full of the coming celebration, the wedding of our youngest daughter!
Just in a quiet and restful moment, while all are in bed or on their way, I needed to express my gratitude to God as He has been so faithful and full of mercy to us…
Overlooking the past few years as the Word became truth that all “your sons will come from far and your daughters will be brought near” we can only praise Him and sing our songs of honor and worship to the One who is so trustworthy in every way.
It is easy to speak it after Joshua: As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord… But today, with a humble heart, I can shout the truth as they all serve Him. I mean, not just being christians and going to church, but serving Him, entering the throne, singing their songs of praise, seeking His face and walking their destiny!
Many times, I have said it with a longing, knowing that there is no way I can make it true, but treasuring the moments of “going in weakness” as my children have seen our stumbling, failing, but most of all our longing and bowing down.
My dear friends, I know it is a privilege to say it and just know that it has nothing to do with boosting in self, but with all my heart I can tell you that living from the heart and seeking for His presence opens a way for God to show Himself faithful to your house!
As we gather together next week and enter the mountain to join the two in their becoming one, we will sing our praises, lift our voices and declare that only He is faithful and true!
As the “as for me and my house” many times sounded as a longing, today I speak is as a truth! They all do and they can say it again about their house!
God is so good, praise Him!
He made His promises true through the generations… Four by now!
As for me and my house…
